The Lord who sustains me!

“You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do turn” Psalm 18: 35-36, NIV.

Heavenly Father,

Oftentimes I reminisce on the simpler days I used to live. Please help me Lord to always remain content, wise and strong. Although my feet stumble you don’t allow me to fall. You uphold me with your mighty right hand. You gently whisper into my heart–reminding me who You say I Am. Your beloved daughter, called and equipped, prepared for spiritual battle, positioned and chosen for such a time as this! My I continue to find favor in your eyes–all the days of my life. Lord please keep me feet from slipping or wandering astray–in Jesus’ precious & mighty name I pray! 💙

When God says…No!

And David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” They said, “He is dead.” Then David got up from the ground-washed himself, put on lotions, and changed his clothes. He went to the Tabernacle and worshiped the LORD. Samuel 19:20.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to be content with your no...and understand that your answers may not always be a yes. Regardless you are a good father–and we trust that you know what is best. May we praise & worship in the midst of pain and heartache because we know that with these actions you are pleased. Let us not look back, or to the sides, but continue running this race with endurance towards the prize of running into the arms of our savior Jesus Christ!

There is great joy and hope in His…No. Even on our worst days–He is still in control! 💙

“Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba, and he went to her and lay with her. So she gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon. Now the LORD loved the child” 2 Samuel 12:24.

Jesus…all I need is you!

“You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine” Psalm 4:7, NLT.

Here I am again Lord–once more, knocking on heavens doors. Unable to allow even a day to go by without seeking your face and feeling your presence by my side. This agape love is deep, unlike any other love I’ve known before. No longer holding onto the rejection and pain of the past. If people chose to leave, let them do so–where the Lord leads not everyone can go. Time to let it all go and focus on all that you have called me to do. Even if I am left standing all alone–all is well, because Jesus…all I need is you!

God

The God of Suddenly!

“The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom” Deuteronomy 28:12-13 NIV.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your supernatural peace which surpasses all human understanding. I pray that you would remove all fear from my mind and remind me who I am in Christ–hand-picked, chosen, loved and redeemed. Help me to walk through every door you open, with confidence knowing it is you who made a way in the wilderness just for me. I trust you Lord with every aspect of my life–May your presence saturate me on this day and for your glory may I shine! ✨

Spiritual Gifts

IMG_2207

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another” 1Peter 4:10.

The Bible teaches that we are to desire spiritual gifts, as God uses our gifts to edify the body of Christ. In Genesis, we read of Joseph using his gifts to encourage others while in prison, and utilizing his gifts eventually leads him from the prison to the palace.

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the grace of being alive and well this morning, I thank you for the rest that has refreshed me and the gifts that you have entrusted me with. Please give your servant an obedient heart and help me to lead with wisdom–using all that you have gifted me with to bless others. I know well that in my own strength I grow weak & weary–but with you all things are possible. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. 💜

~Pressure~

IMG_2189

“You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way” James 1:3-4.

The Bible teaches us that pressure is to be embraced, for it tests our faith and refines our character. Throughout scripture we learn that everyone God has ever used in a mighty way persevered amid heavy pressure and hardships. And so today I challenge you,

“How much pressure are you willing to endure?”

Heavenly Father,

Help us to be men and women willing to endure pressure and hardships while keeping our eyes fixed on you. Let us consider it pure joy when we face difficult times and are taken into deep waters, as we know that it is an opportunity for our faith to be increased and our characters refined. Thank you for promising to always be with us and help us to get this right Lord! In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.   💜

Moving forward in Christ

IMG_2182Blessed is the one who reads and hears the Words of this prophecy, and the ones keeping the things written in it, for the time is near. Revelation 1:3.

A few weeks ago I had dream that as  I was walking with some people, suddenly my body began to rapidly ascend upward into the heavens. The people I had been walking with at the moment had not ascended upward with me but had stayed behind and continued walking about on earth. I remember looking down–trying to make out the facial images of those that had stayed behind, with no success. I woke up with such an urgency to share the truth of what is to come.

And so with urgency I declare, “Let us Repent– for the kingdom of God is near!

Heavenly Father,

Please help us to be heaers and doers of your word. Pierce our hearts Lord–ripping pride, fear and doubt out by the root. Remind us of who we are in Christ: Called, Qualified and Chosen–for such a time as this. Please change and transform us into the men and women you created us to be. We want to make it to the promised land and bring as many with us as we possibly can. We love you Lord and trust your perfect plan. In Jesus’ mighty & precious name we pray. 💜

In a Spiritual Warfare…

As Christians, we must understand that we are in a constant spiritual battle, not only for our own souls, but for the souls of our loved ones as well.

I find the words of Holley Gerth to be right on point when she says, “Oh, yes, a lifetime with Jesus is going to be a wonderful adventure. There’s going to be joy and hope and beautiful relationships. But, listen, there’s something else you need to know: You’re not going on holiday, you’re going into battle.”

“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places” Ephesians 6:12.

We have to boldly declare, “The enemy will not have my marriage, my husband/wife, my children or any of my loved ones–the battle is on!”

Heavenly Father,

Help us to understand that we are in a spiritual battle against the enemy of our souls. Please give us discernment and wisdom so that we are not deceived by his schemes and tactics. Help us to put on the full armor of God daily–so that we may be equipped for battle. Let us remember–our toughest battles are won on our knees in prayer, for Jesus has already won the battle and the war. In Jesus’ mighty & precious name we pray. 💜
