An Obedient Heart ❤️

Do not work only while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart. Ephesians 6:6.

My heart was convicted this morning as I read about a woman by the name of Fanny Cosby, who was born blind, yet dedicated her life towards working to expand God’s kingdom, writing about nine thousand hymns throughout her lifetime drawing many lost souls to the Lord. The interesting part is that many of her writings, she freely gave away to others, allowing them to publish without her ever receiving any credit. It did not matter to her who received the credit–what mattered was that God received the glory!

Heavenly Father,

This morning I surrender every area of my life into your hands, my fears, my dreams and all of my plans. I ask that you examine my heart and motives and remove anything that is toxic or unpleasing in your sight. Help me to walk in obedience in all that you ask me to do. Where you lead I will follow–less of me and more of you!

In Jesus’ precious name I pray. ❤️

Never give up!

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong” 1 Cor 16:13 NIV.

Even if you fail a thousand times, dust your self off and get back up; we only fail when we quit trying. And whenever past mistakes begin to replay in your mind, pause for a moment and remember all great things take time. Speak to the impossible and remind yourself who you are in Christ. Thank you Lord for your promise to never leave our side.

In my own strength it is not possible but, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. 💕

Moving forward in Christ

IMG_2182Blessed is the one who reads and hears the Words of this prophecy, and the ones keeping the things written in it, for the time is near. Revelation 1:3.

A few weeks ago I had dream that as  I was walking with some people, suddenly my body began to rapidly ascend upward into the heavens. The people I had been walking with at the moment had not ascended upward with me but had stayed behind and continued walking about on earth. I remember looking down–trying to make out the facial images of those that had stayed behind, with no success. I woke up with such an urgency to share the truth of what is to come.

And so with urgency I declare, “Let us Repent– for the kingdom of God is near!

Heavenly Father,

Please help us to be heaers and doers of your word. Pierce our hearts Lord–ripping pride, fear and doubt out by the root. Remind us of who we are in Christ: Called, Qualified and Chosen–for such a time as this. Please change and transform us into the men and women you created us to be. We want to make it to the promised land and bring as many with us as we possibly can. We love you Lord and trust your perfect plan. In Jesus’ mighty & precious name we pray. 💜

Lighting each other’s candles

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will too be refreshed” Proverbs 11:25.

I wonder how differently things would have played out for King Saul had he not only been obedient to God’s instructions, but had he also embraced the big calling upon David’s life–as apposed to doing everything in his power to try to stop it. We can only imagine how differently the story would have unfolded, had the king repented from his sin, accepted his short-comings and extended a hand of grace to the anointed, young man “after God’s own heart.”

In Jeremiah 17:10, the Lord boldly declares, “I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.”

Our lights do not dim by lighting each other’s candles. We rise by lifting up others. A generous heart will always prosper–and love always wins! ❤️

Heavenly Father,

Help us to be men and women readily available to extend a hand of grace to others in need. Let us do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but instead let us consider the needs of others more important than our own. Let us bless whom you tell us to bless, without any hesitation and in a spirit of truth & love. Please keep our hearts genuine & pure and may we shine for your glory. Help us to get this right Lord! In Jesus’ mighty & precious name we pray. 💜

Not today devil!

“I rejoice in your promise like one one who finds a priceless treasure” Psalm 119:162.

It seems as though every time God has spoken a powerful prophetic word over my life, the enemy has come for me the hardest. My attacks have come the strongest as I have stepped out in faith doing what God had called me to do. The enemy has been relentless, attacking with many familiar tactics.

This morning I woke up feeling extremely exhausted. With interviews, meetings and a hefty to-do list awaiting me for the day. I struggled with feelings of discouragement, exhaustion and defeat. But something changed in my heart and my hope was restored as I began to meditate on God’s promises.

And I have come to realize  that sometimes we just have to declare all of God’s promises over our lives and the lives of our loved ones, even if we do not see them unfolding in the natural. If God said it–it’s going to happen, period! This matter is not up for debate.

We simply have to let the enemy know, “Oh No Not today devil!” I believe what God has promised me!

Heavenly Father,

This morning my prayer is that you would help anyone who is feeling discouraged–please fill their hearts with peace, joy and hope. Please help us to see with our spiritual eyes what we are unable to see in the natural. Thank you for always being faithful and true. And let us rejoice as if we have already received all that you have promised. We love and trust you Lord, and we know that you are for us. In Jesus’ mighty & precious name we pray. 💜<<<<

Positioned for a Miracle

Are you believing God for the impossible? Have you positioned yourself to receive your miracle? Today I encourage you to set aside some time and meditate on who God is and on what he has done for you in the past. Begin to thank him for what is to come and shake off all the other voices and distractions around you. Believe what God had spoken to You–those words were given to You and no one can take them from you!

Faith is the key to receiving your miracle. You have to believe in something so strongly that you are willing to lose everything for it!

“A woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour” Matthew 9:20-22.

Heavenly Father,

Let this day be a day of great breakthroughs in our lives. Keep us strong in faith as we position to receive our miracles. Empower us to press forward in all that you have called us to do. We love you Lord , we thank you for all that is to come and are believing in you for the impossible. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. 💜

My best Yes!

“Go in peace. Your journey has the LORD’s approval” Judges 18:6.

Some time ago, I vowed to say “yes” to God to anything that he would want me to do. I committed to boldly step out in faith–even in fear. My most recent “yes” led me to begin this blog. Throughout this journey I have experienced much heartache, frustration and discouragement; but the lessons I have learned have been essential to moving forward in what God has called me to do.

Had I not walked through the valley–I would not be able to declare the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness; because I know where he has rescued me from and what he has done for me in the past, I believe him for all that he has promised me in the future. So amid disappointments and even resistance, I press forward giving God my “best yes” because I trust him–I love him and I know that he is for Me!

“The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled” Jeremiah 1:12.

Heavenly Father,

This morning I would like to take a moment to thank you for giving me the strength and courage to continue moving forward in all that you have called me to do. I pray that all those reading this post will also be encouraged to continue moving forward in whatever you may be calling them to do. Help us to understand that we are here on this earth on assignment and one day we will meet with you face-to-face, and it will be too late for excuses. Ignite a fire in us Lord and please give us the boldness to always give you our “best yes!” In Jesus’ mighty and precious name we pray. ❤️

Submissive Wife 👑

“Let the king give her royal position to someone else who is better than she; then all the women will respect their husbands, from the least to the greatest” (Esther 1:19c, 1:20b, NIV).

In the book of Esther we learn of a young woman rich in faith, who wins favor in the eyes of many important people, including King Xerxes. Esther is then chosen by the king to replace disgraced Queen Vashti; but ultimately chosen by God to save her Jewish people.

As I reflect on the events that transpired In the book of Esther, I am left to wonder, “How did Queen Vashti get it all wrong?”

On the evening she found herself dethroned, she had been busy hosting a banquet for the women in the royal palace of King Xerxes. Queen Vashti had it all: beauty, prestige and wealth; but she lacked reverence and respect for her husband. Her disobedience and inability to submit to the order placed by God resulted resulted in her being stripped of her royal crown and prestigious position, never again allowed to enter the presence of the king.

“But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God” 1 Corinthians 11:3, ESV.

“Everything that you wish a woman would be, be that woman” Lisa Bevere.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to become the submissive wives you created us to be. Although this task may seem a lot easier said than done, we know that anything is possible  with Christ. Lord please help us to be women who are quick to listen and slow to speak. May we gain favor in your eyes and see changes in our husbands as we honor you with our lives. Help us to get this right Lord! In Jesus’ name we pray. ❤️

In God’s kingdom, there is almost always a breakdown before a breakthrough. Anytime that God is ready to use us, promote us or take us to higher level, we can almost expect the enemy to fire back–with lies, confusion and discouragement. And it is not uncommon for the enemy to use those closest to us and those we care about most to hurt us.

But the Bible instructs us to, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love” Eph 4:2, NIV. And teaches us that, “it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense” Proverbs 19:11b. For God alone is our vindicator.

Heavenly Father,

My prayer today is that you would help us to understand that we only further delay our own blessings when we attempt to exalt ourselves in the eyes of others. May our lives serve as a living testimony, winning souls for the kingdom by how others see us living, talking, walking and reacting to different situations. For your word teaches us that you will reward us for what we do in private, when we believe no one is looking. We love you Lord and may our lives be pleasing before your eyes. In Jesus’ mighty and precious name we pray ❤️

Quiet Time

“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life” 1 Thessalonians 4:11a.

As there is a season to sow and a season to reap, there is a season to be silent and a season to speak. Not every God-given dream is to be shared, sometimes they are just reminders that He loves us and is there.

Take time to be quiet in His presence🕊

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for another day of life and another opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ with a hurting and broken world. Please give us the discernment and wisdom to know when to stay quiet and when to speak. Keep our hearts pure, our eyes above the storms and our ears attentive to your voice. We love you Lord–In Jesus’ name we pray! 💜
