Entering into a new season

He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised” Psalm 23:3.

Excitement, nervousness and butterflies are what I feel inside. Lately life has felt like I’m on an airplane rising high, with lots of turbulence and bumpy roads, and few moments of stillness before dropping low. A new season; a new assignment and off again we go! Learning to trust you even when I am uncomfortable and completely out of my comfort zone. Refusing to allow doubt or worry to rise, remembering the calling I have upon my life. Entering a new season–on assignment to share the light of Christ. ✨

He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers” Psalm 1:3

God

Are you really all in??

“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance” 1 Peter 1:14.

Are you really All In?? Or still holding onto one or two little sins? This morning let us take a moment to examine our own hearts. For our Heavenly father knows all that is done in the dark.

If we claim to live a life totally transformed by Christ–we must do what we must to kill the sin in our lives. The first step is to acknowledge the little sin you struggle with–then surrender to God and allow the work to begin. One foot in and one foot out? Selective obedience produces selective results.

I don’t know about you, but I want to see miracles produced in my children and my families lives. Lord I surrender it All and to me I die. ❤️

God

Obedience; Dying to Me

“Abraham did as God told him to” Genesis 17:23.

Each day we have a choice to make–follow our own desires or listen to what the Lord has to say. I will be the first to admit it’s easy to fall into the trap of being led by emotions–knowing very well they tend to leave me torn and broken. Praying for the strength to be different and make the right choices. Help me Lord to walk in obedience to you and die to me…may you look down from heaven and with my walk be pleased.

It’s not easy to move on when you feel defeated and ready to quit; it’s not easy to forgive when the memories are impossible to forget; it’s not easy to love when how they treated you was evil & unjust–but if I claim to be your child I must believe your love enables me to do ALL things. Not in my own strength but in my weakness is when you are most glorified through me…..

“Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible” Matthew 19:26.

❤️His love is enough! ❤️

God

Choosing my battles wisely

“I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron” Isaiah 45:2.

Learning to use wisdom; Choosing my battles well. Being mindful; God is on my side. My steps ordained by the Master, everything in line–according to His perfect will for my life. Confidently approaching each new obstacle–believing the victory is already mine. Not in my own strength but in He who goes before me and behind. 💙

God

Being still in His presence

“Be silent before the LORD and wait expectantly for him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the person who carries out evil plans” Psalm 37:7. 🌷🌺🌵

There is no other place I would rather be than in the stillness of your presence–it is what changes & transforms me. No time for compromising your words or twisting your commands to fit my own plans. Willing to give it All up Lord to be within your perfect will for my life. For the salvation of my children and my loved ones I will continue to fight. Though many storms arise in an attempt to attack my peace of mind. I stand firm in my belief–amid evil plans & deceit, I won’t grow weary, for the King of Kings himself goes before me!

If God is for me…who can be against me?!

God

God did it!

“From six troubles He will deliver you, Even in seven evil will not touch you” Job 5:19.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I want to take a moment to thank you Lord for always being attentive to my cry; amid pain & suffering you remind me the victory is already mine. Once again you rescued me from the evil schemes of the enemy. I will live to tell of your goodness, love and great works. May I find favor in your eyes all of the days of my life…when people question and wonder how I was able to reach so high, I will humbly answer…God did it!……..it was not I. ❤️

God

He goes before me!

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8.

My protector; My redeemer, my Lord who is always with me. Whom can I fear? How can I doubt? Faithful you have been. Why would you fail me now? In this world, people will disappoint. Those whom you’ve helped will remember you know more. During difficult times, in who can I confide? But then you speak to my heart and promise to “tear down gates of bronze and walls of stone”. I will fear no evil, for you remind me– I walk not alone for You go before me! Thank you Lord for always showing up on time & reminding me the battle is yours and not mine. 🦋🌵💙

God

Great is His Faithfulness!

“Although your former state was ordinary, your future will be extraordinary” Job 8:7. 🦋

As I sit and reflect on the goodness of the Lord, all that He has done for me and where He has delivered me from–I am in awe of His goodness & faithfulness.

Thank you Lord that you do not call the qualified–you qualify the called! You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. You elevate and raise me high–as you lead me deeper into the unknown. Where you lead I will follow, attentive to your voice never fearing tomorrow. With many followers or none, this race I will continue to run–believing you at your promise that, “My best is yet to come!”

Lord, may I receive according to what I believe… ohhh you have been so, so good to me! 💙

God

When God says…No!

And David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” They said, “He is dead.” Then David got up from the ground-washed himself, put on lotions, and changed his clothes. He went to the Tabernacle and worshiped the LORD. Samuel 19:20.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to be content with your no...and understand that your answers may not always be a yes. Regardless you are a good father–and we trust that you know what is best. May we praise & worship in the midst of pain and heartache because we know that with these actions you are pleased. Let us not look back, or to the sides, but continue running this race with endurance towards the prize of running into the arms of our savior Jesus Christ!

There is great joy and hope in His…No. Even on our worst days–He is still in control! 💙

“Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba, and he went to her and lay with her. So she gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon. Now the LORD loved the child” 2 Samuel 12:24.

God

Jesus…all I need is you!

“You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine” Psalm 4:7, NLT.

Here I am again Lord–once more, knocking on heavens doors. Unable to allow even a day to go by without seeking your face and feeling your presence by my side. This agape love is deep, unlike any other love I’ve known before. No longer holding onto the rejection and pain of the past. If people chose to leave, let them do so–where the Lord leads not everyone can go. Time to let it all go and focus on all that you have called me to do. Even if I am left standing all alone–all is well, because Jesus…all I need is you!
