An Obedient Heart ❤️

Do not work only while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart. Ephesians 6:6.

My heart was convicted this morning as I read about a woman by the name of Fanny Cosby, who was born blind, yet dedicated her life towards working to expand God’s kingdom, writing about nine thousand hymns throughout her lifetime drawing many lost souls to the Lord. The interesting part is that many of her writings, she freely gave away to others, allowing them to publish without her ever receiving any credit. It did not matter to her who received the credit–what mattered was that God received the glory!

Heavenly Father,

This morning I surrender every area of my life into your hands, my fears, my dreams and all of my plans. I ask that you examine my heart and motives and remove anything that is toxic or unpleasing in your sight. Help me to walk in obedience in all that you ask me to do. Where you lead I will follow–less of me and more of you!

In Jesus’ precious name I pray. ❤️

His word Produces…Always!

IMG_3127“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it” Isaiah 55:11.

God’s word produces fruit; if he spoke it–it will come to fruition. His word will never return void, he is not a man that he should lie.

Pressure proves how much you really believe the Promise!

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living” Psalm 27:13. 🌵🌺🍇🌹❤️

But God…

“If it had not been for the LORD who was on our side when people rose up against us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us; the raging waters would have swept us away. Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as prey to their teeth! We escaped like a bird from a hunter’s trap. The trap is broken, and we are free! Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth” Psalm 124:1-8.

There is something about having journeyed through the valley and the wilderness and persevered–that allows us to know Him as we never did before and to testify to the world of His faithfulness and love. ❤️

“If God is for ME….Who can be against me?!” I stand Positioned for His favor.

What are you believing God for?

IMG_2863But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” Matthew 19:26.

I set my alarm clock last night for a little earlier than usual because I didn’t want to miss my appointment with the Lord this morning. I woke up with such an overwhelming feeling of expectancy this morning. Although I cannot yet see it in the natural–I perceive it in my spirit that He is “making a pathway through the wilderness and creating streams in the desert.”

For His promises cannot ever return void. So I am believing what the prophet says–that I will be Blessed! 🕊🌵💜

The doors He opens, No man can close!

“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name” Revelation 3:7-8, NIV.

This scripture reminds us, that the doors the Lord opens–no man can close. Our trust cannot be based on what we hear or see, but rather on what the Lord has spoken and promised. For he is faithful, just and a promise-keeper. He will do all that he has promised to do in the lives of his faithful children, because he is a rewarded of those who diligently seek him.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for all of the doors that you have opened, and for the ones that you have closed. Today I chose to mediate on all that you have promised—believing it already done in the precious name of your son. When evil tries to arise and hinder your plan, I will chose to place my trust in you!

Resisting Bitterness

“As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, she despised him in her heart” 2 Samuel 6:16.

Michal lived a life most women could only dream of. She was into a royal family, a daughter of a king and married to the greatest king that ever lived, King David. But sadly, Michal daughter of Saul, allowed unexpected circumstances to allow bitterness to take root in heart heart. With time she grew to despise and hate her husband deeply in her heart. As a result of her disobedience, she never bore King David any children.

May the troubles and difficulties of this life life make us better, not bitter!

“Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered” HEBREWS 5:8.
