God

Great is His Faithfulness!

“Although your former state was ordinary, your future will be extraordinary” Job 8:7. πŸ¦‹

As I sit and reflect on the goodness of the Lord, all that He has done for me and where He has delivered me from–I am in awe of His goodness & faithfulness.

Thank you Lord that you do not call the qualified–you qualify the called! You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. You elevate and raise me high–as you lead me deeper into the unknown. Where you lead I will follow, attentive to your voice never fearing tomorrow. With many followers or none, this race I will continue to run–believing you at your promise that, “My best is yet to come!”

Lord, may I receive according to what I believe… ohhh you have been so, so good to me! πŸ’™

When God says…No!

And David said to his servants, β€œIs the child dead?” They said, β€œHe is dead.” Then David got up from the ground-washed himself, put on lotions, and changed his clothes. He went to the Tabernacle and worshiped the LORD. Samuel 19:20.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to be content with your no...and understand that your answers may not always be a yes. Regardless you are a good father–and we trust that you know what is best. May we praise & worship in the midst of pain and heartache because we know that with these actions you are pleased. Let us not look back, or to the sides, but continue running this race with endurance towards the prize of running into the arms of our savior Jesus Christ!

There is great joy and hope in His…No. Even on our worst days–He is still in control! πŸ’™

“Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba, and he went to her and lay with her. So she gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon. Now the LORD loved the child” 2 Samuel 12:24.

God

Who do you live to please?

“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ” Galatians 1:10.

I am guilty of having fallen into the trap of becoming a “people pleaser”. Having found favor and sudden promotion within the workplace, I found myself knee-deep into the trap of slaving for man and seeking the approval of superiors. But I thank God for His grace–that even through pain He would remind me that I am to labor first for the Lord–for He is the one who opens and closes doors. And with each new opportunity He provides, I am on an assignment to save lives. Lord, help me to shine brightly wherever I go–that through my life–you others will come to know…

“Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there” Psalm 146:3.

God

Jesus…all I need is you!

“You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine” Psalm 4:7, NLT.

Here I am again Lord–once more, knocking on heavens doors. Unable to allow even a day to go by without seeking your face and feeling your presence by my side. This agape love is deep, unlike any other love I’ve known before. No longer holding onto the rejection and pain of the past. If people chose to leave, let them do so–where the Lord leads not everyone can go. Time to let it all go and focus on all that you have called me to do. Even if I am left standing all alone–all is well, because Jesus…all I need is you!

God

What if I fly?

…being fully convinced that all that He has promised, He will do. Romans 4:21.

Because He has been so faithful in the past, there is no room to doubt He will be faithful to me now. Fearless faith–hearing His voice in a new way. Always ready to step out and Do it Afraid; In my weakness, He is my strength! πŸ¦‹πŸŒ΅πŸŽ

His Beloved ❀️

“Those who are not my people I will call my people, and the one who was not loved, I will call my beloved” Romans 9:25.

Heavenly Father,

I pray that every person reading this post today will no longer hold onto any past or current pain, rejection or disappointment. Help us to understand that every obstacle we encounter is merely a stepping stone used to strengthen our character and mold us into the men and women you created us to be. Let us feel confident in knowing we are sons and daughters of the King of Kings! He looks upon the unloved–and calls us His Beloved! πŸ’œ πŸ‘‘β€οΈ

God

Not looking back!

“On the way, Lot’s wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt” Genesis 19:26.

God calls us to be different, to live holy and sanctified lives. A people willing to let go of anything (or anyone) in the pursuit of holiness and to glorify the name of Christ. Where He leads–I will follow, never doubting or fearing what was left behind. For I have seen the goodness of the Lord, He has been faithful and all that He has promised is already mine! Pressing forward–never looking back–all in His perfect time. πŸ¦‹πŸŒ΅πŸŽ

Fearless Faith

“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come” Proverbs 31:25 JKB.

Chasing after a dream in my heart–on this new journey I prepare to embark. Stepping completely out of my comfort zone, letting go of the only security I know. Holding onto a promise that I heard you speak, running with fearless faith, believing you will provide for all of my needs. Not doubting for even a moment that what you have promised I will not see–nor regretting for a second that when you called, I answered, “Here I am Lord use me!” Allowing you to guide my steps along the path of peace. πŸ’•

An Obedient Heart β€οΈ

Do not work only while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart.Β Ephesians 6:6.

My heart was convicted this morning as I read about a woman by the name of Fanny Cosby, who was born blind, yet dedicated her life towards working to expand God’s kingdom, writing about nine thousand hymns throughout her lifetime drawing many lost souls to the Lord. The interesting part is that many of her writings, she freely gave away to others, allowing them to publish without her ever receiving any credit. It did not matter to her who received the credit–what mattered was that God received the glory!

Heavenly Father,

This morning I surrender every area of my life into your hands, my fears, my dreams and all of my plans. I ask that you examine my heart and motives and remove anything that is toxic or unpleasing in your sight. Help me to walk in obedience in all that you ask me to do. Where you lead I will follow–less of me and more of you!

In Jesus’ precious name I pray. ❀️

Rejectionβ€”Rejected!

But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God” Ruth 1:16.

Rejection is a part of life. We have all experienced it in one form or another. A parent who’s approval or love you were never able to gain, a partner who decided they no longer loved you or wished to remain in a committed relationship, or even a friend in whom you’d confided in–suddenly and unexpectedly backstabbed you. Rejection on any level, can be hurtful and painful.

What if Ruth had walked away?

I believe that God is closely watching how WE react to that offense, deep hurt and disappointment. Ruth got it Right! She refused to allow Naomi’s brokenness and bitterness to turn her away. She held on to the truth of what she had been taught and refused to let go of Naomi and her God.

Ruth rejected rejection! And the Lord honored Ruth’s obedience, faithfulness and heart of compassion with a generation of blessings! 🌷🌸🌷

“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope” Romans 15:4.
