When God says…No!

And David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” They said, “He is dead.” Then David got up from the ground-washed himself, put on lotions, and changed his clothes. He went to the Tabernacle and worshiped the LORD. Samuel 19:20.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to be content with your no...and understand that your answers may not always be a yes. Regardless you are a good father–and we trust that you know what is best. May we praise & worship in the midst of pain and heartache because we know that with these actions you are pleased. Let us not look back, or to the sides, but continue running this race with endurance towards the prize of running into the arms of our savior Jesus Christ!

There is great joy and hope in His…No. Even on our worst days–He is still in control! 💙

“Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba, and he went to her and lay with her. So she gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon. Now the LORD loved the child” 2 Samuel 12:24.

God

Jesus…all I need is you!

“You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine” Psalm 4:7, NLT.

Here I am again Lord–once more, knocking on heavens doors. Unable to allow even a day to go by without seeking your face and feeling your presence by my side. This agape love is deep, unlike any other love I’ve known before. No longer holding onto the rejection and pain of the past. If people chose to leave, let them do so–where the Lord leads not everyone can go. Time to let it all go and focus on all that you have called me to do. Even if I am left standing all alone–all is well, because Jesus…all I need is you!

God

What if I fly?

…being fully convinced that all that He has promised, He will do. Romans 4:21.

Because He has been so faithful in the past, there is no room to doubt He will be faithful to me now. Fearless faith–hearing His voice in a new way. Always ready to step out and Do it Afraid; In my weakness, He is my strength! 🦋🌵🎍

God

Set Free 🦋

“In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free” Psalm 118:5.

Feeling set free and alive; thanking you LORD for it is you who opens doors. So many whispers, so many voices–the enemy relentlessly attempting to bring confusion to the mind. Familiar tactics, not too surprised, I have been here many times before. But in my distress–I cry out onto the LORD and press on forward towards the promised land. The LORD is my vindicator; He upholds me with His right hand. Too many blessings at stake, no time to entertain the whispers and the lies. Pressing on forward in anticipation of all the promises He will fulfill in His time. LORD for your glory may I shine where ever you place me–today, tomorrow and every day of my life. ✨

God

His Beloved ❤️

“Those who are not my people I will call my people, and the one who was not loved, I will call my beloved” Romans 9:25.

Heavenly Father,

I pray that every person reading this post today will no longer hold onto any past or current pain, rejection or disappointment. Help us to understand that every obstacle we encounter is merely a stepping stone used to strengthen our character and mold us into the men and women you created us to be. Let us feel confident in knowing we are sons and daughters of the King of Kings! He looks upon the unloved–and calls us His Beloved! 💜 👑❤️

God

Not looking back!

“On the way, Lot’s wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt” Genesis 19:26.

God calls us to be different, to live holy and sanctified lives. A people willing to let go of anything (or anyone) in the pursuit of holiness and to glorify the name of Christ. Where He leads–I will follow, never doubting or fearing what was left behind. For I have seen the goodness of the Lord, He has been faithful and all that He has promised is already mine! Pressing forward–never looking back–all in His perfect time. 🦋🌵🎍

God

An All Powerful God!

“If they listen and obey God, they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives. All their years will be pleasant” Job 36:11.

Is there anything too impossible for an All Powerful God?

Last night, the Lord spoke to me through a dream and showed me a plentiful harvest field and in my dream he was pleased by the work being done by the workers in the field. It was as if He was smiling and I too was smiling and so excited for what was yet to come!

Heavenly Father,

This morning I thank you for this new season of prosperity, blessings and peace. Thank you Lord for what you are doing, what you have done and for everything that is yet to come. As we are obedient to all of your laws, decrees and commands–let us see your favor upon our lives as we have never seen before. Thank you for your favor Lord! In Jesus mighty name we pray! 👑💫✨

God

Do it Afraid!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for loving me the way that you do. Your love overwhelms me and brings me to my knees. Who but you alone Lord could be so gracious and attentive to all of my needs? Thank you for lifting and believing in me when I am unable to believe in myself–help me Lord to represent you well. Where you lead, I will follow. In fear, I will step out in faith–and Do it Afraid! 🦋🌵🎍

Preparing for the Purpose

BB2F6775-EAA0-44E5-B875-CA93539CB0E0Years ago, the Lord first spoke to me and told me that I would write, and that many people would be saved through my writings. He has since given me a powerful testimony to share and revealed to my first book title, but I have struggled with not knowing how or where to even begin writing my testimony. A couple of days ago, I found myself beyond  frustrated after having spent hours searching for ideas on how to begin writing, searching for Christian publishers and literary agents. I decided I would leave it all in God’s hands and wait for him to send me someone to help—I was completely out of my league with this whole idea of writing a book. Maybe I would just pursue my Masters in Nursing degree—and stick to what I know!

A day later as I sat in Sunday’s service at church, I searched my emails and smiled as I came across my daily bible verse, “Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does” 1 Chronicles 16:24. I knew the Lord was speaking, but still I prayed for further confirmation. And boy did He deliver!

As the sermon ended, I made my way to the alter for prayer. The Holy Spirit had been moving strongly throughout our service, and I just needed to hear from God. And he delivered right on time, just as my heart had been desiring he would.

“I am waiting on You, you say you are waiting on me, but I am waiting on you to take a step of faith, as you take a step I will move with you.” 💜

Thank you Lord—that you never show up too early, and you never show up too late. Please give me the wisdom, courage and strength to fulfill all that you have called me to do. Even in fear—I will step out in Faith. This I pray in Jesus’ mighty  name.

God

At the mouth of my Miracle..

“LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken” Psalm 16: 5-8.

Lord,

Last night I heard you speak wonderful and delightful things to me. Although the enemy is relentless in attempting to bring confusion and doubt, I know I heard you speak–and I will not waver in faith. I stand positioned to receive “everything” that you have promised me-and I will praise you from the pit as if I have already arrived to the palace. 💜👑
