The Lord who sustains me!

“You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do turn” Psalm 18: 35-36, NIV.

Heavenly Father,

Oftentimes I reminisce on the simpler days I used to live. Please help me Lord to always remain content, wise and strong. Although my feet stumble you don’t allow me to fall. You uphold me with your mighty right hand. You gently whisper into my heart–reminding me who You say I Am. Your beloved daughter, called and equipped, prepared for spiritual battle, positioned and chosen for such a time as this! My I continue to find favor in your eyes–all the days of my life. Lord please keep me feet from slipping or wandering astray–in Jesus’ precious & mighty name I pray! πŸ’™

Meditating on the Promises

“But Mary kept all these things like a secret treasure in her heart. She thought about them over and over
Luke 2:19. πŸ’œ

Lord, You have never made a promise you did not keep–meditating on your promises even as I sleep. Lord if you may, please speak to me tonight and instruct on the words I am to write. May the words that you speak through me help to change and transform lives as you did with mine. I will tell of your goodness all the days of my life. For there was loss of hope–but then God spoke! πŸ¦‹πŸŒ΅πŸŽ

Entering into a new season

He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised” Psalm 23:3.

Excitement, nervousness and butterflies are what I feel inside. Lately life has felt like I’m on an airplane rising high, with lots of turbulence and bumpy roads, and few moments of stillness before dropping low. A new season; a new assignment and off again we go! Learning to trust you even when I am uncomfortable and completely out of my comfort zone. Refusing to allow doubt or worry to rise, remembering the calling I have upon my life. Entering a new season–on assignment to share the light of Christ. ✨

He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers” Psalm 1:3

~Doing the impossible~

“I was very much afraid…Then I prayed to the God of heaven” Nehemiah 2:2,4.

Heavenly Father,

When life seems to be giving me more that I can handle in my own strength, you gently remind me that I am never alone–for you always go before me. Where you lead, I promise to always follow, faithfully saying yes to every task that you ask. There is no giant I shall fear nor mountain too difficult to climb–with you by my side. Not by might, not my power, but by your spirit Lord! πŸ’œ

A New Thing

“See, the former things have come to pass,Β and new things I now declare; before they spring forth,Β I tell you of them”

Isaiah 42:9 (NRSV)

Oh Lord—Oh Lord—I truly believe that you are about to do something new in me. In the morning I submit my requests to you and wait expectantly for you to deliver. And I thank you now Lord in advance, for I know that you will deliver all that you’ve promised and planned. In you I trust! πŸ’œ

The desires of our hearts

For the eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is fully devoted to Him” 2 Chronicles 16:9.

Examine our hearts Lord; May we find favor in your eyes. For to the faithful–You promise to show yourself faithful. We wait expectantly for you to move strong on our behalf in a way that only you can! πŸ’œ

Are you really all in??

“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance” 1 Peter 1:14.

Are you really All In?? Or still holding onto one or two little sins? This morning let us take a moment to examine our own hearts. For our Heavenly father knows all that is done in the dark.

If we claim to live a life totally transformed by Christ–we must do what we must to kill the sin in our lives. The first step is to acknowledge the little sin you struggle with–then surrender to God and allow the work to begin. One foot in and one foot out? Selective obedience produces selective results.

I don’t know about you, but I want to see miracles produced in my children and my families lives. Lord I surrender it All and to me I die. ❀️

Obedience; Dying to Me

“Abraham did as God told him to” Genesis 17:23.

Each day we have a choice to make–follow our own desires or listen to what the Lord has to say. I will be the first to admit it’s easy to fall into the trap of being led by emotions–knowing very well they tend to leave me torn and broken. Praying for the strength to be different and make the right choices. Help me Lord to walk in obedience to you and die to me…may you look down from heaven and with my walk be pleased.

It’s not easy to move on when you feel defeated and ready to quit; it’s not easy to forgive when the memories are impossible to forget; it’s not easy to love when how they treated you was evil & unjust–but if I claim to be your child I must believe your love enables me to do ALL things. Not in my own strength but in my weakness is when you are most glorified through me…..

“Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible” Matthew 19:26.

❀️His love is enough! ❀️

Choosing my battles wisely

β€œI will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron” Isaiah 45:2.

Learning to use wisdom; Choosing my battles well. Being mindful; God is on my side. My steps ordained by the Master, everything in line–according to His perfect will for my life. Confidently approaching each new obstacle–believing the victory is already mine. Not in my own strength but in He who goes before me and behind. πŸ’™

In my pursuit of Joy & Peace

“Do not grieve, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10.

In my pursuit of joy & peace–I often find myself back on my knees. Struggling with the same giants from my past. Trying to move forward, in the midst of being pulled back. So many highs–yet so many lows, faced with the same mountain, “Lord, where am I to go?”….. Lord as I focus on you–my strength is renewed. I remember the words I heard you speak–-and I meditate on what I have yet to see. I have seen you move mountains before and I can rejoice because I believe you will do it for me once more! 🌻🌾🎍🌿🌼
