Preparing for the Purpose

BB2F6775-EAA0-44E5-B875-CA93539CB0E0Years ago, the Lord first spoke to me and told me that I would write, and that many people would be saved through my writings. He has since given me a powerful testimony to share and revealed to my first book title, but I have struggled with not knowing how or where to even begin writing my testimony. A couple of days ago, I found myself beyond  frustrated after having spent hours searching for ideas on how to begin writing, searching for Christian publishers and literary agents. I decided I would leave it all in God’s hands and wait for him to send me someone to help—I was completely out of my league with this whole idea of writing a book. Maybe I would just pursue my Masters in Nursing degree—and stick to what I know!

A day later as I sat in Sunday’s service at church, I searched my emails and smiled as I came across my daily bible verse, “Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does” 1 Chronicles 16:24. I knew the Lord was speaking, but still I prayed for further confirmation. And boy did He deliver!

As the sermon ended, I made my way to the alter for prayer. The Holy Spirit had been moving strongly throughout our service, and I just needed to hear from God. And he delivered right on time, just as my heart had been desiring he would.

“I am waiting on You, you say you are waiting on me, but I am waiting on you to take a step of faith, as you take a step I will move with you.” 💜

Thank you Lord—that you never show up too early, and you never show up too late. Please give me the wisdom, courage and strength to fulfill all that you have called me to do. Even in fear—I will step out in Faith. This I pray in Jesus’ mighty  name.

New things coming…

“And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new ” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true” Revelation 21:5.

I awakened early Sunday morning from an intense dream, which I interpreted as “a season of transition” on the horizon. With butterflies in my stomach–I prayed for confirmation. As I sat during yesterday’s sermon, something felt different–as though things were shifting. I began feeling as though I was on an airplane, preparing for landing. As though I must get my affairs in order–as I embark on a new journey. The Holy Spirit had been very present during our service yesterday, but I did not expect to hear his voice as clearly as I did.

And the Lord spoke, “Do not be afraid to walk through doors I open, because I open doors for you, watch and see what I am about to do, something big!” 💜💙

To God be all of the glory! Thank you sweet Jesus!

When God is in the midst

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails” Proverbs 19:21, NIV.

When God is in the midst, he allows all of the pieces to fall into place so smoothly! I witnessed this firsthand as he positioned me into a leadership role within my church and then my workplace. And now I have the honor of seeing him working in the life of my eighteen year old son, as he redirects his route and positions him into the college of His choice.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the LORD. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine” Isaiah 55:8. ✨

Thank you LORD, for all that you have done, are doing and is to come. I trust in your perfect position, purpose and plan–for you have always proven to be a faithful, committed-loving man! 💙

His word Produces…Always!

IMG_3127“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it” Isaiah 55:11.

God’s word produces fruit; if he spoke it–it will come to fruition. His word will never return void, he is not a man that he should lie.

Pressure proves how much you really believe the Promise!

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living” Psalm 27:13. 🌵🌺🍇🌹❤️

But God…

“If it had not been for the LORD who was on our side when people rose up against us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us; the raging waters would have swept us away. Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as prey to their teeth! We escaped like a bird from a hunter’s trap. The trap is broken, and we are free! Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth” Psalm 124:1-8.

There is something about having journeyed through the valley and the wilderness and persevered–that allows us to know Him as we never did before and to testify to the world of His faithfulness and love. ❤️

“If God is for ME….Who can be against me?!” I stand Positioned for His favor.

Dreaming BIG 💙

“And though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will increase greatly” Job 8:7.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to understand the magnitude of your power, majesty and glory which is far beyond human comprehension–that we may mediate on and rejoice over all that you have promised as if we have already received our promises in full. For we know that if you spoke it–we can already consider it done!  We love & trust you Lord and in Jesus’ mighty name we pray. 💙

“Let us speak those things that are not– as if they were” Rev Samuel Rodriguez.

The doors He opens, No man can close!

“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name” Revelation 3:7-8, NIV.

This scripture reminds us, that the doors the Lord opens–no man can close. Our trust cannot be based on what we hear or see, but rather on what the Lord has spoken and promised. For he is faithful, just and a promise-keeper. He will do all that he has promised to do in the lives of his faithful children, because he is a rewarded of those who diligently seek him.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for all of the doors that you have opened, and for the ones that you have closed. Today I chose to mediate on all that you have promised—believing it already done in the precious name of your son. When evil tries to arise and hinder your plan, I will chose to place my trust in you!

“Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up” Proverbs 12:25.

Sometimes all that we need is for just one person to believe in us and in our dreams.

We thank you for calling us to be different and setting us apart, to speak words of hope & encouragement into broken and hurting hearts. Please help us remain compassionate, gentle, loving, wise and kind. That the lives of others may be changed & transformed by the testimony of our lives. Thank you always for all the wonders that you do. Less of us Lord–and more of you! 💜
