The Lord who sustains me!

“You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do turn” Psalm 18: 35-36, NIV.

Heavenly Father,

Oftentimes I reminisce on the simpler days I used to live. Please help me Lord to always remain content, wise and strong. Although my feet stumble you don’t allow me to fall. You uphold me with your mighty right hand. You gently whisper into my heart–reminding me who You say I Am. Your beloved daughter, called and equipped, prepared for spiritual battle, positioned and chosen for such a time as this! My I continue to find favor in your eyes–all the days of my life. Lord please keep me feet from slipping or wandering astray–in Jesus’ precious & mighty name I pray! 💙

God

God did it!

“From six troubles He will deliver you, Even in seven evil will not touch you” Job 5:19.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I want to take a moment to thank you Lord for always being attentive to my cry; amid pain & suffering you remind me the victory is already mine. Once again you rescued me from the evil schemes of the enemy. I will live to tell of your goodness, love and great works. May I find favor in your eyes all of the days of my life…when people question and wonder how I was able to reach so high, I will humbly answer…God did it!……..it was not I. ❤️

God

Jesus…all I need is you!

“You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine” Psalm 4:7, NLT.

Here I am again Lord–once more, knocking on heavens doors. Unable to allow even a day to go by without seeking your face and feeling your presence by my side. This agape love is deep, unlike any other love I’ve known before. No longer holding onto the rejection and pain of the past. If people chose to leave, let them do so–where the Lord leads not everyone can go. Time to let it all go and focus on all that you have called me to do. Even if I am left standing all alone–all is well, because Jesus…all I need is you!

God

I once was blind…

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” Hebrews 13:5

When God has a plan for our lives, He does not give up on us. Many times it is tempting to flee from God because its easier to run away from what God wants us to do or we may not like what He wants for our lives. But running away from God and His plans will only lead to pain.

During a season of storms in my life (one that I battled for many years) I was lost, broken, hurting. It had become the norm in my life but that was all I knew at the time. I remember crying and praying to God often to help me through it and to change this person that was hurting me and to reveal the truth to me. God spoke and told me what I needed to do and revealed the truth to me in more ways than one. But, to me, that wasn’t enough. I was in denial, I was blindsided and I was disobedient. Why? Because it is not what I wanted. What I wanted for my life is not what God wanted for me so I chose to flee from God. It was easier to follow the way of the world and difficult to follow God.

God brings pain into our lives to wake us up and get our attention. All we need to do is listen. Even if its not what we want in life, just listen.

My Father never gave up on me even through my disobedience. God spoke “someone is waiting for you on the other side of your disobedience”. All along when I was praying for God to change the person who was hurting me, someone was praying for me and I was praying for my future husband without knowing. God had a plan for me and He has a plan for each one of us. A plan better than the one we have planned. It is going to be a painful walk at times and may seem as though you cant go on but at the end everything will be better if you just trust in Him.

Obey what God is asking from you. Obedience is the key to blessings. I had to take a step of faith; one that did not make sense at the time but God spoke and I listened. The devil was fighting hard to keep me but he lost that battle because my Lord kept fighting for me. He brought me out of my misery and changed my life for the better. He brought my husband. And has shown me to follow His will, not mine all the days of my life. We may give up on God, but He will never give up on us.

Romans 8:18-“the pain youve been feeling, cant compare to the joy thats coming”.

Quiet Time

“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life” 1 Thessalonians 4:11a.

As there is a season to sow and a season to reap, there is a season to be silent and a season to speak. Not every God-given dream is to be shared, sometimes they are just reminders that He loves us and is there.

Take time to be quiet in His presence🕊

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for another day of life and another opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ with a hurting and broken world. Please give us the discernment and wisdom to know when to stay quiet and when to speak. Keep our hearts pure, our eyes above the storms and our ears attentive to your voice. We love you Lord–In Jesus’ name we pray! 💜

Let it Go

IMG_1848

Let it go, for you do not know what tomorrow brings. Love hard; and forgive quickly–never allowing bitterness the opportunity to take root in your heart.

“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins” Mark 11:25 (NIV).

Heavenly Father,

Thank you Lord for another precious day of life. Help us to understand that life is short with tomorrow not being promised to anyone. Teach us your ways Lord–that we may represent you well in this broken world. Help us to be a people that love hard–as you love; and let us not miss the opportunity to let those we love know just how much they mean to us. In Jesus mighty name we pray. ❤️

Suddenly

“Long ago I told you what was going to happen. Then suddenly I took action, and all my predictions came true” Isaiah 48:3.

Has God spoken to you former things that have yet to pass? Are you believing in God for the impossible? When we are obedient, God’s love shows up in unexpected ways–at unexpected times. God is a God of suddenly; and suddenly He can transform our unfortunate circumstances into something beautiful and glorious.

Lord,

In you and you alone we trust; and we patiently wait for you to suddenly show up and turn our situations around. With expectant hearts–we await our miracles. In Jesus’ precious and mighty name we pray. ❤️

Pushing Forward

“The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger” Job 17:9.

God does not promise a life free of trouble and storms, but promises to strengthen us and to be with us wherever we would go.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for another day and another opportunity to make right our wrongs. Help us to not loose heart, and to continue pushing forward in all that you have called us to do. May our lights continue shining amid drought, rain or storms. Help us to get this right Lord–that you may shine through us. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.

Learning to Love again…

IMG_2661

When the Lord gave me the title for this writing, I did not understand it. “Learning to love again?  Interesting…now what could I possibly write to relate to this title?” In due time, I would receive illumination and understanding and then I knew that it was time to share some of My Story!

While most people find joy in reflecting on childhood memories, I realize there are others like myself who have tried desperately to bury the hurts of the past. Growing up, I had an absentee father, and a mother who although physically present–was emotionally absent. My mother suffered from depression and consumed alcohol as a form of medication and means of escaping reality. Sadly, most of her pain and frustration was projected towards me in the form of verbal and at times even physical abuse.

For years and even until recently, I found myself entrapped by the wounds of my past. Small things would trigger a memory and instantly I would find myself in tears and desiring to flee to an area of solitude. With each occurrence, I would re-live the pain, abuse, rejection, and hurt. Soon, I found myself overwhelmed with bitterness. But God was tugging at my heart, teaching me it was time to let go and forgive. He told me there was purpose in my pain; and He has began to teach me how to love again and even feel compassion for those who have caused me much pain.

Unhealed pain results in anger, hatred and bitterness. And sadly, many people today unknowingly are suffering from unhealed wounds of the past. The fact of the matter is, that if you still feel deep pain or strong emotions when reminded of the offense or offender, or when triggered–then perhaps there may be internal wounds buried deeply inside of you which have not yet healed.

As I reflect on my own wounds of the past and even recent disappointments and offenses, I realize that hurting people-hurt other people, broken people–break other people and wounded people-wound others. We must realize who is truly up against us–and that person is the enemy of our soul!

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12.

As God has plans to prosper us, the enemy also has an agenda–to try and hinder God’s plan. But when we grasp onto the understanding of who is truly behind the wrongs and injustices committed against us or those we love, we then are able to feel compassion for those allowing themselves to be used by the enemy. And so we must pray for our enemies, and for those who hurt us. We may be the person God is calling to lead our offender into eternal salvation. There is always purpose in pain and suffering; for we gain favor from the Lord when we respond correctly.

And so, “It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees” Psalm 119:71.

Be blessed and remember,
❤️~Love Always Wins~ ❤️

Broken Things

IMG_2633

By: Krystyna Maldonado

Are you broken? And tired of feeling as though everything is going wrong? I know I am….

We become broken when we allow ourselves to become dependent upon others. When things do not turn out the way that we would have wanted them to; we get upset. When situations don’t go as planned–we lose hope, and when people fail us–we lose trust. In the midst of painful situations, we become broken!

Sometimes we become so broken that we tolerate things we know we shouldn’t. We then begin to bury ourselves in our own brokenness so deeply that we are unable to hear that precious–still voice saying, “Trust Me!”

God never intended for people to hurt us; but he did intend for us to trust Him. Proverbs 3:5 NIV instructs us to, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

God desires to heal our brokenness, if we would only allow Him to. Carrying a heavy load of negative feelings and emotions will only leave us tired and uneased. It is time to trust and believe that our Lord Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer, will make a way. He will take what is broken and make it complete and whole.

All that we must do is to seek him. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well” Matthew 6:33, NIV.

It is time to let go of situations we have no control of and time to let go of people and things that cause us more harm than good. And I know firsthand that this may sound a lot easier said than done, but be encouraged as “All things are possible with Christ.” Each morning before I begin my day, I shout onto the Lord saying, “I trust you Lord!”

Blessings..❤️XOXO
