Choosing my battles wisely

β€œI will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron” Isaiah 45:2.

Learning to use wisdom; Choosing my battles well. Being mindful; God is on my side. My steps ordained by the Master, everything in line–according to His perfect will for my life. Confidently approaching each new obstacle–believing the victory is already mine. Not in my own strength but in He who goes before me and behind. πŸ’™

In my pursuit of Joy & Peace

“Do not grieve, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10.

In my pursuit of joy & peace–I often find myself back on my knees. Struggling with the same giants from my past. Trying to move forward, in the midst of being pulled back. So many highs–yet so many lows, faced with the same mountain, “Lord, where am I to go?”….. Lord as I focus on you–my strength is renewed. I remember the words I heard you speak–-and I meditate on what I have yet to see. I have seen you move mountains before and I can rejoice because I believe you will do it for me once more! 🌻🌾🎍🌿🌼

God

Being still in His presence

“Be silent before the LORD and wait expectantly for him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the person who carries out evil plans” Psalm 37:7. 🌷🌺🌡

There is no other place I would rather be than in the stillness of your presence–it is what changes & transforms me. No time for compromising your words or twisting your commands to fit my own plans. Willing to give it All up Lord to be within your perfect will for my life. For the salvation of my children and my loved ones I will continue to fight. Though many storms arise in an attempt to attack my peace of mind. I stand firm in my belief–amid evil plans & deceit, I won’t grow weary, for the King of Kings himself goes before me!

If God is for me…who can be against me?!

God

God did it!

“From six troubles He will deliver you, Even in seven evil will not touch you” Job 5:19.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I want to take a moment to thank you Lord for always being attentive to my cry; amid pain & suffering you remind me the victory is already mine. Once again you rescued me from the evil schemes of the enemy. I will live to tell of your goodness, love and great works. May I find favor in your eyes all of the days of my life…when people question and wonder how I was able to reach so high, I will humbly answer…God did it!……..it was not I. ❀️

God

He goes before me!

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8.

My protector; My redeemer, my Lord who is always with me. Whom can I fear? How can I doubt? Faithful you have been. Why would you fail me now? In this world, people will disappoint. Those whom you’ve helped will remember you know more. During difficult times, in who can I confide? But then you speak to my heart and promise to “tear down gates of bronze and walls of stone”. I will fear no evil, for you remind me– I walk not alone for You go before me! Thank you Lord for always showing up on time & reminding me the battle is yours and not mine. πŸ¦‹πŸŒ΅πŸ’™

God

My Story…it has just begun

Do not be afraid or discouraged for the battle does not belong to you, but to God.

2 Chronicles 20:15.

Heavenly Father,

In my weakness–you are strong. You remind me my story isn’t over–it has just begun. And I realize that I am unable to accomplish anything in my own strength; for it is only by grace that I continue running this race. Thank you Lord for never giving up on me or allowing my feet to slip or stumble off path. Thank you for safely securing me in the palm of your mighty right hand. My story isn’t over–No! So much more is yet to come! 🌸🌷🌺

God

Great is His Faithfulness!

“Although your former state was ordinary, your future will be extraordinary” Job 8:7. πŸ¦‹

As I sit and reflect on the goodness of the Lord, all that He has done for me and where He has delivered me from–I am in awe of His goodness & faithfulness.

Thank you Lord that you do not call the qualified–you qualify the called! You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. You elevate and raise me high–as you lead me deeper into the unknown. Where you lead I will follow, attentive to your voice never fearing tomorrow. With many followers or none, this race I will continue to run–believing you at your promise that, “My best is yet to come!”

Lord, may I receive according to what I believe… ohhh you have been so, so good to me! πŸ’™

God

Arms wide open

“The LORD looks down from heaven at the human race, to see if there is anyone who is wise and seeks God” Psalm 14:2. πŸ–€

Though this journey can result in much loneliness–I press on forward in the pursuit of righteousness & holiness. Dying daily to self, that I may represent you well. You have been so faithful & true. We will find you, when we seek you, with all of our hearts. Always ready to receive us at any moment–with arms wide open.

God

Never stop Believing!

Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you” Psalms 9:10.

Many discouraging days will come and go–but it can be expected as we have an enemy in pursuit of our souls. But many blessings will there be for those who don’t lose hope and continue to trust in His name. From strength to strength–from glory to glory, the pain that we endure serves a greater purpose in our story!

Those who trust in the Lord, will never be put to shame. Romans 10:11. ❀️

God

When God says…No!

And David said to his servants, β€œIs the child dead?” They said, β€œHe is dead.” Then David got up from the ground-washed himself, put on lotions, and changed his clothes. He went to the Tabernacle and worshiped the LORD. Samuel 19:20.

Heavenly Father,

Help us to be content with your no...and understand that your answers may not always be a yes. Regardless you are a good father–and we trust that you know what is best. May we praise & worship in the midst of pain and heartache because we know that with these actions you are pleased. Let us not look back, or to the sides, but continue running this race with endurance towards the prize of running into the arms of our savior Jesus Christ!

There is great joy and hope in His…No. Even on our worst days–He is still in control! πŸ’™

“Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba, and he went to her and lay with her. So she gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon. Now the LORD loved the child” 2 Samuel 12:24.
