“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name” Revelation 3:7-8, NIV.
This scripture reminds us, that the doors the Lord opens–no man can close. Our trust cannot be based on what we hear or see, but rather on what the Lord has spoken and promised. For he is faithful, just and a promise-keeper. He will do all that he has promised to do in the lives of his faithful children, because he is a rewarded of those who diligently seek him.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all of the doors that you have opened, and for the ones that you have closed. Today I chose to mediate on all that you have promised—believing it already done in the precious name of your son. When evil tries to arise and hinder your plan, I will chose to place my trust in you!
