Uncommon Woman

IMG_2298More times than I’d like to admit, I have held back from sharing Jesus the way I’ve really desired to do so in my heart. I have placed a huge focus on the opinions of others, instead of allowing myself to be led by the spirit of God.
I am thankful to God for those individuals he uses to speak truth into my life. Oftentimes, we are oblivious to our own sin and need a man/woman of God to bring forth Godly-correction and truth.
“Listen to advice and accept correction, and in the end you will be wise” (Proverbs 19:20, NIV).
Conviction is essential to living a God-pleasing life. It is the evidence of the Holy Spirit actively working within our hearts. We will all sin and fall short, but by the grace and goodness of God we are able overcome and be freed from the habitual sins of our past.
An Uncommon Woman strives to live a life completely surrendered and transformed by the power of Christ. She does not live to be a “people-pleaser,” but lives to “please Christ” instead!
God has been too good to me for me to keep him hidden in a little box and only share him with those whom I know are believers. He has answered many tear-filled prayers and has performed miracles and wonders in my life and in the lives of my loved ones. And I will share his goodness and truth with the world.

I am ready for everything the Lord has promised me and I’m okay with being an uncommon Jesus-loving woman.

  1. Today my prayer is that God would use me to be that person who speaks the truth in love and led by his the Holy Spirit, and I pray that as I seek him, he will soften the hearts and open the ears of the people who are in need of that gentle loving correction.

I personally have stopped speaking up and am grieving the Spirit because my flesh says “it’s their life”… so I silence the Spirit that is leading me because I don’t want to offend them or have them upset with me.
Just today I prayed for God to show me how to say it, and when to say it and who to say things to. All for his glory!

    Blessings to you Missy ❤

  2. Amen! Profound thoughts and a good lesson. I too struggle with this and it’s wrong. God has done so much for me and even if He hadn’t done anything else He gave us Jesus ❤️ Praise the Lord that’s enough to shout of Him from the roof tops! Praying for a boldness like never before!
