When a mother kneels in Prayer…

“My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance”

1 Samuel 2:1. 💜

Heavenly Father,

Nothing is impossible for you Lord! You are a God of “suddenly” and “suddenly” we will see all that you have promised come to be–your words will never return void or fall to the ground. Thank you Lord for all that you have done, all that you are doing and for the fulfilled promises that are to come. We trust you Lord! In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.

God

He will open doors…

“And the Lord said…This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.” Exodus 33:17

I feel it in my heart you are about to move–in a way that only youcan do. Please make a way where there seems to be no visible way through–that those who do not believe will then be able to see and know that you alone are in control!

Obedience is the key, that unlocks the floodgates of blessings. I stand positioned and ready to receive–please more of you Lord and less of me! ❤️

God

Unequally yoked?

Praying for all of those struggling and torn between the pursuit of Christ and the disbelief of their husbands and wives. My prayer is that the veil may soon be torn from their eyes–that they may testify to a life transformed by the power of Christ. There is No heart too heavy, hard or cold that God is not able to grab ahold. Believing that “my story” will soon fill many hearts with peace, joy and hope and serve as a reminder that God was, still is and will always be In Control! 💕💕💕💕💕

Preparing for the Purpose

BB2F6775-EAA0-44E5-B875-CA93539CB0E0Years ago, the Lord first spoke to me and told me that I would write, and that many people would be saved through my writings. He has since given me a powerful testimony to share and revealed to my first book title, but I have struggled with not knowing how or where to even begin writing my testimony. A couple of days ago, I found myself beyond  frustrated after having spent hours searching for ideas on how to begin writing, searching for Christian publishers and literary agents. I decided I would leave it all in God’s hands and wait for him to send me someone to help—I was completely out of my league with this whole idea of writing a book. Maybe I would just pursue my Masters in Nursing degree—and stick to what I know!

A day later as I sat in Sunday’s service at church, I searched my emails and smiled as I came across my daily bible verse, “Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does” 1 Chronicles 16:24. I knew the Lord was speaking, but still I prayed for further confirmation. And boy did He deliver!

As the sermon ended, I made my way to the alter for prayer. The Holy Spirit had been moving strongly throughout our service, and I just needed to hear from God. And he delivered right on time, just as my heart had been desiring he would.

“I am waiting on You, you say you are waiting on me, but I am waiting on you to take a step of faith, as you take a step I will move with you.” 💜

Thank you Lord—that you never show up too early, and you never show up too late. Please give me the wisdom, courage and strength to fulfill all that you have called me to do. Even in fear—I will step out in Faith. This I pray in Jesus’ mighty  name.

An Obedient Heart ❤️

Do not work only while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart. Ephesians 6:6.

My heart was convicted this morning as I read about a woman by the name of Fanny Cosby, who was born blind, yet dedicated her life towards working to expand God’s kingdom, writing about nine thousand hymns throughout her lifetime drawing many lost souls to the Lord. The interesting part is that many of her writings, she freely gave away to others, allowing them to publish without her ever receiving any credit. It did not matter to her who received the credit–what mattered was that God received the glory!

Heavenly Father,

This morning I surrender every area of my life into your hands, my fears, my dreams and all of my plans. I ask that you examine my heart and motives and remove anything that is toxic or unpleasing in your sight. Help me to walk in obedience in all that you ask me to do. Where you lead I will follow–less of me and more of you!

In Jesus’ precious name I pray. ❤️

God

Thanking Him in Advance!

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living” Psalm 27:13. 🌺🌷🍃🌺🌱

Dear Lord,

This morning I awake, with a spirit of expectancy flowing through my veins. Thanking you in advance for the miracles that are to come. You spoke the words–and we believed and now we stand positioned and ready to receive. Thank you Lord for this new season of abundance, peace, joy and rest. For where ever you desire to lead–even in fear I surrender giving you my best Yes!

In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.🌺

Rejection—Rejected!

But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God” Ruth 1:16.

Rejection is a part of life. We have all experienced it in one form or another. A parent who’s approval or love you were never able to gain, a partner who decided they no longer loved you or wished to remain in a committed relationship, or even a friend in whom you’d confided in–suddenly and unexpectedly backstabbed you. Rejection on any level, can be hurtful and painful.

What if Ruth had walked away?

I believe that God is closely watching how WE react to that offense, deep hurt and disappointment. Ruth got it Right! She refused to allow Naomi’s brokenness and bitterness to turn her away. She held on to the truth of what she had been taught and refused to let go of Naomi and her God.

Ruth rejected rejection! And the Lord honored Ruth’s obedience, faithfulness and heart of compassion with a generation of blessings! 🌷🌸🌷

“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope” Romans 15:4.

Dear Husband…🌹

To the one that I adore:

I love you dearly but I know that you love me even more.

Throughout my life those that should have loved me, turned their backs and chose to walk out of my life. But amid many trials, you have shown yourself faithful, and have remained right by my side. I am in awe of the man of God I have watched you grow and mature into. I loved you yesterday—I love you more today and I will always love you! You are an amazing husband and father and so grateful to be your wife. Looking forward to growing old with you by my side. I thank God for you! 💋❤️🌹

Graceful Goodbye 🕊

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland” Isaiah 43:18-19.

Recently, I began to feel as though my season was nearing its end in a specific area of my life but I needed to be sure what I was feeling was from God. I sought counsel from a couple of elders in my church (my spiritual mentors), because the last thing I would ever want to do, is to step a single foot outside of God’s perfect will for my life. Lord knows I have circled the same mountain for far too many years–and I needed some solid wisdom. The words I received pierced right through my heart–as though a light bulb had just been turned on, instantly I felt at peace and full of understanding.

When your season is over, God will confirm. He does not elevate you, to then bring you low. God will take you “from glory to glory!” It will not be a shameful end, but rather a graceful goodbye!

Everyone shall know, “I am with you!” Isaiah 41:10.

God

At the mouth of my Miracle..

“LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken” Psalm 16: 5-8.

Lord,

Last night I heard you speak wonderful and delightful things to me. Although the enemy is relentless in attempting to bring confusion and doubt, I know I heard you speak–and I will not waver in faith. I stand positioned to receive “everything” that you have promised me-and I will praise you from the pit as if I have already arrived to the palace. 💜👑
